Rise PR opens for business

24 February 2010

Rise PR, a new agency owned and managed by former associate directors at Ruder Finn and Bell Pottinger has today opened its doors for business.

Focusing on technology, corporate and consumer public relations, Rise PR is founded by husband and wife team Paul and Karen Allen. Paul, formerly of Ruder Finn and with 12 years technology and corporate PR experience will focus on the B2B side of the business while Karen will use her 14 years experience gained most recently at Bell Pottinger to head up the consumer offering.

"We have been lucky enough to work at some of the UK's biggest and most reputable PR agencies and we’ve taken the best experiences gained at those to create Rise PR," said Rise PR Director, Paul Allen. "The way the market has been impacted by the economy in the past 18 months has meant that PR budgets have been made to go that bit further. We firmly believe there is a demand for big agency expertise, experience and contacts but without the price premium that usually comes with that."

Rise PR's first client is smart home systems company PassivSystems, which is launching its home energy management product, PassivEnergy later this year.
